Cole Miller (b. 2003, Philadelphia, PA) investigates the relationship between a fictitious space’s magic and the “real world’s” ridiculousness. Interested in the spacial qualities of Queerness, he looks to build, break down, rebuild, and observe imaginative and physical spaces through the nature of queer-non-conformity.  These performances and objects carry different emotions in relativity to one another, allowing for the same work to be celebratory and mournful at the same time. Recently, he’s been interested in the lengths between intuition and conditioning, finding himself and his work occupying that abstract space often.

Cole Miller is studying towards his BFA in Sculpture at the Rhode Island School of Design.
